What is Smell and Taste Disorder?
Smell and taste disorders involve a reduced, distorted or complete loss of your ability to detect odors or flavors.
A temporary loss of smell or taste during a cold is common and usually resolves on its own, but you should seek medical attention if the change persists for more than a couple of weeks or occurs suddenly without an obvious cause.
