What is Dysphoria?
Dysphonia is the clinical term for any change in the quality of your voice, whether it sounds hoarse, breathy, strained or weak. It can result from something as simple as overuse or as complex as a structural issue with the vocal cords.
Most voice changes from a cold or a loud night out clear up within a couple of weeks, but you should seek medical attention if hoarseness lasts longer than that.
