The providers are recommending that everyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine do so as soon as possible. Please reach out to your primary care physician or pharmacy to find out when and where you can receive your vaccine. The Allergy Center does not have the COVID-19 vaccine.
We will screen allergy shot patients and are recommending that you allow seven days between allergy shots and the COVID-19 vaccine in order to monitor any reactions to either treatment. Please schedule your allergy injections accordingly.
If you are scheduled for any type of allergy testing, oral food or drug challenge, please allow seven days between testing and the COVID-19 vaccine.
Per CDC guidelines, history of food, pet, venom, latex and environmental allergies are not a contraindication to the vaccine. Underlying immunocompromising conditions are not a contraindication to the vaccine.
