The providers are recommending that everyone who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine do so as soon as possible. Please reach out to your primary care physician or pharmacy to find out when and where you can receive your vaccine. The Allergy Center does not have the COVID-19 vaccine.
Following updated recommendations from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, we will screen allergy shot patients and are recommending that you allow two days between allergy injections and the COVID-19 vaccine. Please schedule your allergy injections accordingly in order to monitor any reactions to either treatment.
If you are scheduled for any type of allergy testing, Biologic injection, oral food or drug challenge, please allow two days between testing and the COVID-19 vaccine.
Per CDC guidelines, history of food, pet, venom, latex and environmental allergies are not a contraindication to the vaccine. Underlying immunocompromising conditions are not a contraindication to the vaccine.
